The Bellator Light Heavyweight Championship is on the line tonight, as the consistently unranked Christian M'Pumbu attempts to earn a shred of respect by defending his belt against Attila Vegh.
M'Pumbu has been long taken for granted as champion, and at age 35 he is at a disadvantage when it comes to moving up the rankings, but his judo is nothing to sneeze at. That said, Vegh is in the prime of his career and should have a good chance the later the fight goes.
Overall, I'm still picking M'Pumbu to retain by submission in round 4, but there's a good shot at a title change here.
Rest of the main card
Lightweight Semifinals
Will Brooks over Saad Awad by KO 2
David Rickels over Jason Fischer by decision
Bantamweights: Josh Montoya over Ed West by KO 1
Bellator has been killing my picking reputation this year, so hopefully I get in a groove here.
